A UNESCO World Heritage Site
The famous pilgrim place. The name has been derived from famous Mata Tara Devi. The temples of Tara Devi & Sankat Mochan are situated in the vicinity of this station. The third longest tunnel (No.91) of this section is situated just on the Shimla end of this station.
